I have been asked many times what exactly Yazzem will allow you to do. Therefore, in this post I will explain what Yazzem is and answer some questions.

Yazzem will be the simplest way to create your own microblogging group for anything. Groups will be just like Twitter, but will be created by you about anything.

Is It Free?
Yes. Anyone can create groups for free about anything they want. However, there will be Google Text Ads on your group, which can be taken off for $4.99/month.

What Can My Group Be About?
As I try to make it as clear as possible, groups can be about anything. Ranging from family and friends to special events like birthdays and weddings.

When In the World Will Yazzem Launch
The planned launch for Yazzem is April 15, 2009.

Is Yazzem Going to Compete With Twitter
Absolutely not. I think of Twitter as a help to Yazzem. It has taught many people what microblogging actually is.

Who Owns Yazzem
Yazzem was created by Zachary Collins (me). I am 14 year old web geek from the United States. I currently own Twtbase.com, which is an easy to search directory of Twitter applications. I am excited to announce that the new Yazzem blog is setup! On this blog, you will be able to find new updates to Yazzem, including information on the upcoming release.

Yazzem has been constantly worked on for the past few weeks with great improvements along the way, including the name. Yazzem will be the simplest way to create your own microblogging network for anything. And by “anything” I mean whatever you can name, including networks for friends, family, social groups, businesses, and more.

Another thing I would like to mention in this post is that an online tour will be setup when Yazzem is released into ‘Open Beta’ stage. This tour will feature everything you need to know, including an up close video and screenshots.
