I have been asked many times what exactly Yazzem will allow you to do. Therefore, in this post I will explain what Yazzem is and answer some questions.

Yazzem will be the simplest way to create your own microblogging group for anything. Groups will be just like Twitter, but will be created by you about anything.

FAQ

Is It Free?
Yes. Anyone can create groups for free about anything they want. However, there will be Google Text Ads on your group, which can be taken off for $4.99/month.

What Can My Group Be About?
As I try to make it as clear as possible, groups can be about anything. Ranging from family and friends to special events like birthdays and weddings.

When In the World Will Yazzem Launch
The planned launch for Yazzem is April 15, 2009.

Is Yazzem Going to Compete With Twitter
Absolutely not. I think of Twitter as a help to Yazzem. It has taught many people what microblogging actually is.

Who Owns Yazzem
Yazzem was created by Zachary Collins (me). I am 14 year old web geek from the United States. I currently own Twtbase.com, which is an easy to search directory of Twitter applications. I also created themes for the social network maker Ning over at Thememix.ning.com. You can email me at zack@yazzem.com or fill out the contact form.

Hopefully this answers everybody’s questions, and if you have a question that wasn’t answered here, just leave a comment or fill out the contact form.

Thanks,
Zachary Collins
